Day 1: Departure

Paro / Thimphu (55 km – 1.5 hrs)

Arrive at Paro International Airport. Meet and greet, then drive to Thimphu, the charming capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at the Tamchog Lhakhang iron bridge. In the evening, explore Thimphu’s vibrant handicraft market. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2

Thimphu

After breakfast, full-day sightseeing: Buddha Dordenma statue, National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, and the Takin Sanctuary. Afternoon visit to the Folk Heritage Museum and the Textile Museum. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 3

Thimphu / Punakha (75 km – 3 hrs)

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100 m), with panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Punakha Dzong and the suspension bridge. In the afternoon, short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility). Overnight in Punakha.

Day 4

Punakha / Paro (125 km – 4 hrs)

Return to Paro, visiting Simtokha Dzong en route. Afternoon visit to the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and Rinpung Dzong. Stroll through Paro town’s quaint shops. Overnight in Paro.

Day 5

Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Full-day excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched on a cliff at 3,120 m. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Paro.

Day 6:

Paro – Haa Valley (optional)

Day excursion to the pristine Haa Valley via Chele La Pass (3,988 m), one of Bhutan’s highest motorable passes. Return to Paro. Overnight in Paro.

Day 7:

Departure

Transfer to Paro airport for your onward flight.
