Day 1: Departure

Colombo / Negombo

Arrive in Colombo and transfer to Negombo. Evening boat ride in the Dutch Canal or relax at the beach. Overnight in Negombo.

Day 2

Negombo / Sigiriya (170 km – 4 hrs)

Drive to Sigiriya, visiting the Dambulla Cave Temples en route. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 3

Day 03 – Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Minneriya / Sigiriya

Morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO site). Afternoon visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Evening jeep safari in Minneriya National Park. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 4

Day 04 – Sigiriya / Kandy (90 km – 2.5 hrs)

En route to Kandy, visit a spice garden in Matale. In Kandy, explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy a cultural dance performance. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 5

Day 05 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya (75 km – 2.5 hrs)

Scenic drive through tea plantations. Visit a tea factory. In Nuwara Eliya, explore Gregory Lake and colonial architecture. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6:

Day 06 – Nuwara Eliya / Yala (200 km – 5 hrs)

Drive to Yala National Park. Evening safari to spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. Overnight near Yala.

Day 7:

Day 07 – Yala / Galle / Bentota (230 km – 5 hrs)

Morning drive to Galle to explore the Galle Fort. Continue to Bentota for beach relaxation. Overnight in Bentota.

Day 8:

Departure

Transfer to Colombo Airport for your onward flight.
